David Rowland’s AM joned the Dads Can team and families at Llananant Farm in Raglan recently to see the work that the project does first hand, David and Keryn Rowlands enjoyed the visit, met with the families and learned a thing or two from our guide and farm owners Tim and Sue. A Dads Day at the Senedd

Dads Can at the Welsh Assembly Our Dads Can team along with a small but excited group of dads were invited to the Welsh Assembly in March. The invitation, sponsored by Nick Ramsay, AM included the opportunity for the dads to meet and chat to other Assembly Members about the work of the project. Project helps dad secure dream job

Dads Can is a Monmouthshire Housing Association project set up to support fathers living in Monmouthshire and Newport. The initiative aims to provide advice and support, including assisting them into employment. Sam has been a beneficiary of Dads Can since he attended an employability course running in conjunction with Cardiff City Foundation. After gaining qualifications he was inspired to undertake a SIA security course so he could pursue a career in the security industry. Since completing the course, Sam has worked in a number of different venues including shopping centres, rugby stadiums, music festivals like Glastonbury, clubs and bars. He […]

Our Dads Can project makes it to the UK Housing Awards Final

Dads Can, the Big Lottery funded project that supports fathers and father figures across Monmouthshire and Newport has made it to the final of the UK Housing Awards 2018 in the category of Outstanding Approach to Equality and Diversity.
